Houston's Comicpalooza

So this was the first convention where I had a comic to plug, well two actually. Finally! Take note previous comic employers..... lol I'm in this issue of Atomic Robo (released May 16th):

So be sure to pick up it up! You might remember this entry in this blog where I previewed the pages I worked on:

In addition, I was at Comicpalooza (first time doing that show) to promote and sell A.K.A:

Many thanks to those who stopped by the table for a chat, requesting a commission and picking up A.K.A. Everyone in Houston made me feel welcome and at ease. I hope to return next year!

Here's a few photos from the show:

B&W Superman

Fans own character: The Human Flame. I love how afterwards I realized I drew Bill the Butcher. I love those types of mustaches and yes, he had one!

Hellboy 70's Pimp.

Charity piece for the Ronald McDonald House. I was suppose to do the live art show but had to pack since Jenna and I were to leave the next day directly from the show. Hope this was able to raise some money for a good cause!

In between I worked on a few avengers pieces for fun and to add to the travel portfolio. All are still available for purchase if anyone is interested! Asking $40 per piece plus shipping. Email me if interested!

Thanks again for the great Human Flame! He's not mine, though. He's a 50's Martian Manhunter villain who figured heavily into Final Crisis a few years ago. I'll have the piece up on my blog eventually, but I've got to spread the commissions out until the 5th anniversary in September...
